J Sports is collaborating with Jewish Federation Services to help stock their pantry! “Jewish Family Services (JFS) is dedicated to promoting the well-being of all those in the community who require support and services within a Jewish context.”
Join us in our Second Annual “Feed the Pantry” Pickleball Tournament to help bring in food items and resources for the JFS Food Pantry and create awareness about the importance of JFS and the pantry. “The JFS Food Pantry is the only food pantry in Wake County that offers a Kosher section. Our Pantry offers non-perishable items and a limited amount of personal hygiene/toiletry items and serves residents all over Wake County.” We ask that on top of the entry fee; please bring at least two items from the JFS wish list to the tournament. The tournament will be a Round Robin Style tournament and will feature Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles Brackets, broken down by ages, 19+, 35+ and 50+. Brackets will be made once registration closes and teams will be matched as best as possible. If brackets are low in numbers, some brackets may be combined. For this tournament, please use your own self rating when selecting your level. Each bracket will have a max of 8 teams. Each person needs to have a partner, single players will not be matched up.
The entry fee for each event is $30 for members and $40 for non-members, $10 extra for multiple brackets. Early Registration is from April 1st – May 15th. Register early to receive a tournament T-Shirt!
