Camp J Treetop Climbing Camp

June 26-30 9am-3:30pm

Register by June 1 and save an additional $25 per week.

Camp JCC is excited to offer Treetop Climbing Camp.  This one-week camp will provide campers with one-on-one training from the skilled Park Guides on all the tricks of Adventure Climbing.  Adventure Climbing is a style of climbing specifically aimed at adventure parks like Treetop Adventures Raleigh. Instead of vertical climbing like you would see on a climbing wall, this takes planning as your traverse through different type of obstacles at varying height.  Campers will climb from 9:15 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Campers will not climb on Wednesday so that they can participate in Camp J Yom Maccabiah  (Maccabi Games Day).  Each day has a different agenda, with some free climb and zipping practice time.   Daily lessons will include learning about our gear, safety on the course, and basic climbing techniques.  Each day campers will work on increasing their stamina and technique so they can begin moving up to new levels on the course.

Treetop Climbing Camp is open to campers in rising 5th-rising 9 grades.

JCC Members: $285 per week
General Community: $350 per week

Camp JCC multi-week discount of $20 per week does apply to this program.   Camp JCC Extended Care and Transporation are available for an additional fee.
