The JCC & PJ Library Raleigh-Cary present a Fun Story & Craft Activity for Grandparents & Kids!

Wende Essrow  a well-known artist and writer with a masters in Education will be reading one of her short stories along with a  lesson about ocean life.  This will be followed by an easy but fun water globe craft (like a snow globe)  as a take-home for all the children.  Appropriate for children approximately 3-8years old!

Grandparents are strongly encouraged to bring their grandchildren and spend some time at our beautiful outdoor pool included in the fee.

About the guest artist: Wende Essrow is a local author and illustrator of children’s books and most recently released a gift book of her photography and poetry.  She worked with children for 30 years and now that she is retired is happy to devote her time to her grandchildren and her writing.
