This four week class delves into our lifestyle choices and every day actions, and examines both the positive and negative impact we as local and global citizens and consumers can have on our natural environment.

This course is presented in collaboration with the Town of Cary on Thursday evenings 10/26, 11/2, 11/9 & 11/16.

About the Teacher: Rabbi Edery from Beth Shalom grew up in Argentina in a family that was heavily involved in Jewish Life.  His Father was a rabbi, and his mother a Jewish Educator.  Rabbi Edery worked and studied in several international communities including Israel, Mexico and Barcelona Spain!  In 2004 Rabbi and his family settled into Holly Springs, NC as he became Beth Shalom’s Rabbi.  Here he found a congregation, which shared his goals: To create a warm community, in which Judaism is explored, learned, lived and enjoyed. Rabbi Edery has varied personal interests, which include archeology and ancient history, Mediterranean food, nature, science, soccer, world music and writing.
